Ph.D. student, Biomedical Engineering
The world will ask who you are, and if you do not know, the world will tell you.
Hey everyone! I'm Vani, a Biomedical engineering PhD student in my third year working on bioengineered models of cardiac injury. I am from Chennai, India and recieved my B. Tech in Electronics from SRM University before getting my M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Outside of lab, I love cooking, getting lost in a fictional book or wandering around exploring Atlanta. Grad school can be scary, but it is equally one of the most rewarding adventures you'll ever go on. Take it as it comes, give it your absolute best, and never forget to embrace the whimsy and have fun while you're at it!
