Who Is GT6000 Designed For?

You will find GT6000 most beneficial if:

• You are an Atlanta campus student that is new to the city.
• You are starting your first semester of graduate school at Georgia Tech.
• You want to learn strategies and campus resources to have a successful graduate experience.
• You don’t have much or any prior graduate school or work experience.

GT6000 Special Interest Sections

In Fall 2025, we will provide two special interest sections of GT6000. While the curriculum and the learning outcomes are the same as other GT6000 sections, these special interest sections will have the opportunity for a deeper dialogue and focus with those of similar characteristics.

Note: if any sections are full, or if the time does not work with your calendar, we have over 40 sections available with various dates and times to choose from.

Schedule Fall 2025

How To Register

Registration for GT6000 is exactly the same as registration for other courses. You will pick one of the sections (listed above) that works with your course schedule and add the associated CRN to your schedule. The meetings occur synchronously so you must be available during the time listed to meet with your group.

Register for GT6000 on OSCAR during Phase II registration (starts Monday, August 11, 2025).
