Simran is a Master's in Analytics student at Georgia Tech. She grew up in the Bay Area in California and completed her undergrad degree at Emory University in Atlanta. She returned to Atlanta for her Master's degree at Georgia Tech, where she built a strong community of people from different places. Simran is a trained singer, enjoys being outdoors and exercising, and enjoys listening to music. Her advice to incoming students is to make friends and connections early on, as that will make the rest of graduate school easier academically, professionally, and socially.
