Paria is a first-year Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering. She earned her master’s degree in Operations Research from Georgia Tech and her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for a Machine Learning course in the College of Computing for one year. Outside of academics, Paria enjoys inline skating, hiking, walking, going to the gym and exploring new places. One of her goals is to visit all of the national parks in the U.S. Her advice for incoming graduate students is to enjoy the small things and be kind to yourself and others.
