Group Leader
Ph.D. student, Cell and Molecular Biology
I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.
I graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Biochemistry, then received a MS in Microbiology from USF Tampa. Currently, I'm in the Cell and Molecular Biology PhD program in the Whiteley lab studying bacterial diseases. In my free time I love playing recreational sports like volleyball and pickleball, being outdoors, crafting/diying, and traveling. My advice to incoming students is that what you put into your life is what you'll get out of it, so now is the time to invest energy into who you want to be inside and outside of your graduate program.
