Jemma is a third-year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on understanding how microglia regulate spatial memory learning in mice. Jemma earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University. Outside of research, she enjoys rock climbing, biking, working out at the gym, and spending time with her dog. She is excited to meet new students and help them discover all that Georgia Tech and Atlanta have to offer.
