Failure is only the opportunity to begin again. Only this time more wisely.
Ashish is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering, where he studies bubble coalescence and droplet fragmentation in the Flow Physics and Computational Science Lab. In May 2025, he completed his bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He loves to skateboard, explore new places in Atlanta, and meet new people. Ashish's best advice for incoming graduate students is to try out many activities outside of classes and research, because getting involved with your campus or your city is one of the best ways to branch out and prioritize your work-life balance.
