There is a lot more to fun things to explore at the Tech campus and community than we think.

I am a PhD student in Quantitative Biosciences at Georgia Tech, where I work in the Spatial Ecology & Paleontology Lab with Prof. Jenny McGuire. My research uses fossil records and paleofire data to study how climate change and wildfires have shaped mammalian communities over time. I completed my BS-MS in Geological Sciences at IISER Kolkata in 2023. Outside of research, I enjoy exploring caves and camping. My advice for incoming graduate students is to explore activities on campus, especially at Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech (ORGT), and to build connections with fun people early.
