Thank you for considering Georgia Tech for your graduate education. Before you start the application process, take a moment to read through the following information to help you prepare.
In addition to completing the online graduate application, you'll have to submit a number of supporting materials including transcripts, letters of recommendation, test scores, and verification of lawful presence. For more details about these required documents, go to Supporting Documents.
Application deadlines vary by school/program. Check with your program of interest about deadlines for admission and early deadlines for assistantships, fellowships and awards. Be sure to allow sufficient time before the deadline for the Office of Graduate Studies to receive and process your supporting documents.
You will be required to provide credit card information (American Express, Mastercard, or Visa) to pay the nonrefundable application fee. The application fee for domestic applicants is $75 and for international applicants is $85.
Current Federal TRIO program applicants, such as McNair Scholars, are eligible for an application fee waiver. For consideration, you should email a PDF of your current program participation certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org for guidance on how to obtain this waiver. You will receive an email response within 5-7 business days indicating whether or not the application fee has been waived. Do not pay the application fee until you receive a response from our office, as the fee is nonrefundable.
In the Graduate Admission section of the Catalog, you'll find Tech's admission standards and information on everything from the Institute's policy on transfer credit to English Proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS) scores. We recommend you also check the catalog before submitting your application.
