2026 Cohort
Richard S. Mitchell, originally from Austin, Texas, is a Ph.D. student in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, his research centers on advanced nanofabrication and lithographic techniques for next-generation meta-photonic devices. Richard is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into innovative technologies and hopes to pursue a research and development career advancing nanofabrication and photonic technologies in industry or at a national laboratory.
