First Steps as a New Georgia Tech Graduate Student
Use the New Student Checklist to stay on track with the tasks you need to accomplish before starting your first day of class. Some tasks can be completed as soon as you're admitted, so be sure to check those items off your list as soon as possible.

Graduate Institute Orientation (GradIO)
In addition to your program’s orientation, the Office of Graduate Education also hosts in-person and virtual Institute-level orientation. You will have a chance to meet fellow new students, discover resources available to you, learn about Tech traditions and policies, and more.
Note: GradIO is geared towards on-campus Atlanta students. Online degree programs will be providing a series of communications to guide and support the transition to an online student experience.
