Knack Tutors are fellow students who have previously aced the courses they offer assistance in. Tutoring is completely free, and sessions take place online.

How To Get Free Tutoring & Ace Your Classes

  1. Visit the Georgia Tech Knack website and sign in with your student account.
  2. Request a tutor. (It's that simple!)
    Indicate the course and topics you need assistance with, and a tutor who has previously aced your class will contact you with an offer to help. Connect online.

How To Become a Tutor & Help Your Peers Succeed

All you need to start is an A on your transcript and have authorization to work in the United States.

Knack does not meet the federal regulatory definition of an on-campus employer under 8 CFR 214.2 (9)(i). As such, F-1 student visa holders who engage in work as a peer tutor for Knack will be considered to be in violation of the F-1 student visa status. If you are currently a graduate research assistant (GRA) or a graduate teaching assistant (GTA), you can also be a Knack tutor.

 

If you meet the requirements to tutor for Knack:

  2. Complete the online training module at your own pace.
  3. Get paid $20 per hour! You can set your own schedule.
