Our orientation resources, events, and programs will prepare you for success as a graduate student.

Spring 2024 Graduate Institute Orientation (GradIO)

In addition to the orientation that your individual program might hold (which you should attend), Graduate Education hosts several orientation sessions prior to the start of classes to introduce you to campus-wide resources and policies. New students have two options to attend orientation:

Orientation Sessions

Attend a virtual or in person live orientation session. All sessions are identical and you only need to register for and attend one session.

GT6000

We also coordinate an extended orientation course each fall called "GT6000". If you're a new graduate student looking to meet other students from across campus, this program is perfect for you.
