Woonhong Yeo is an Associate Professor and Woodruff Faculty Fellow in the Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, and the Director of the IEN Center for Human-Centric Interfaces and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the areas of nano-microengineering, soft materials, molecular interactions, and biosystems, with an emphasis on nanomembrane bioelectronics.
This talk will be great for clinicians, engineers, and researchers who are interested in new technologies that can be used for pediatric healthcare. Views should expect to learn the basics of soft wearable technologies and their applications for advancing healthcare. The goal of this talk is to help viewers gain a new perspective on utilizing new soft technologies.
Yeo received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle. Afterward, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Yeo has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles, including many in top-quality journals, including Nature Materials, Nature Machine Intelligence, Nature Communications, and Science Advances.
