Underrepresented and Minority Students

  • Focus Program
    • Georgia Tech’s Focus program is one of the nation’s premier graduate recruitment programs designed to attract highly skilled students who have historically been underrepresented in higher education, equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to successfully navigate the graduate admissions process.
  • National Name Exchange
    • The National Name Exchange focuses on removing barriers to access for those students historically underrepresented in higher education including first-generation students, veterans, racial and ethnic minorities, specific genders in some fields, and other groups.
  • Virtual Graduate School Showcase
    • The Virtual Graduate School Showcase (VGSS) hosted by Georgia Tech is an annual event and an opportunity for prospective students to connect with recruiters from Georgia Tech as well as other universities from across the U.S. and world. Invitations are sent to students who have been historically underrepresented in higher education, such as the National Name Exchange, McNair Scholars, and more.
