Current Georgia Tech undergraduate students who demonstrate an interest in and ability for additional education beyond the BS degree are encouraged to apply to their department's BS/MS degree program track. This application is typically submitted during the sophomore or junior year (we do not recommend first-year students to apply). All questions related to this application should be directed to your department.

BS/MS Criteria
Before you begin the BS/MS application, make sure you meet the criteria listed below:
- You must be a current Georgia Tech undergraduate student in good academic standing.
- You must select an approved MS path (ex: If you are a current Mechanical Engineering BS student, you can only apply to the Mechanical Engineering BS/MS program.) You cannot use this form to change degree programs.
- Once your Online Application for Graduation (OAG) for Undergraduate Students is approved, you will be able to continue with the MS degree (if you were admitted).
- The BS/MS program is a continuous enrollment program. You are allowed a one semester "break" between earning your undergraduate degree and starting the MS program. You should select a term no more than one semester after the term that you earned your undergraduate degree.
