If I am not eligible for in-state tuition at the time of enrollment, can I become eligible later? (Deferral until eligible option)

-       It is possible. If you (independent student) or your parent (dependent student) have not officially established domicile in Georgia for 12 consecutive months prior to the first day of your classes, you may request to be reevaluated after you have reached that milestone. That may mean that you will be out-of-state for your first semester, but possibly in-state for future semesters (as long as domicile in Georgia is established and maintained). You will be asked to provide documentation to prove your eligibility to the Registrar’s Office.
