What are the terms and conditions of my admission?
Admission Decisions: Georgia Tech graduate programs make admission decisions from their pool of eligible candidates based on various factors, including academic degrees and records, essay prompts, letters of recommendation, test scores, and relevant work experience.
Post-Admission Process: Upon admission, the Office of Graduate Education will thoroughly verify and evaluate academic credentials and ensure compliance with Institute policies before applicants are eligible to enroll as new graduate students.
Verification and Evaluation Process:
- Evaluate post-secondary degrees for U.S. accreditation or international equivalency
- Confirm satisfaction or exemption from the Institute's English Proficiency requirement
- Very compliance with the University of Georgia's Lawful Presence policy if you reside in the United States
Next Steps: After completing our verification and evaluation process, you will receive notification via email to check your portal. This may take several weeks from the date you received your admission decision.
Important Note: Georgia Tech reserves the right to rescind your offer of admission if there is a significant decline in academic performance, serious disciplinary or criminal issues, or ineligibility during verification.
