Do I need to submit my financial documents with my application or can I wait until I know if I have been admitted?

Do not submit financial documents prior to being accepted. Generally these documents are only good for six months.

If admitted, documentation of financial support will be requested by the Office of International Education (OIE). The admitting graduate degree program initiates a request for an I-20 or DS-2019 to be processed.

Applicants can review the following websites to begin preparing for this process:

Estimated cost of attendance: https://finaid.gatech.edu/costs/graduate-costs

Financial document requirements: https://isss.oie.gatech.edu/isss/financial-document-requirements

The I-20 or DS-2019 process: https://isss.oie.gatech.edu/content/oie-process-issuing-graduate-i-20-or-ds-2019
