Suspension of GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL testing due to COVID-19

Georgia Tech is aware of the suspension of testing centers due to COVID-19.  The graduate admission and international offices in conjunction with Institute leadership are working to find alternatives for those applicants impacted by these test delays and the global health emergency. We will keep this page and our FAQ updated as they become available.


HIGH VOLUME TIME - EXPECT DELAYS IN RESPONSE

The Office of Graduate Studies is experiencing a high volume of requests right now.  Please look through all of the FAQ areas and search for answers to your questions before submitting a ticket.  The answers to the vast majority of questions we are receiving can be found in the FAQs below.


Activating your GT account

Solution


To activate your GT account please follows the steps below.

Should you have any trouble logging into your GT account please contact our Technology Support Center at http://www.oit.gatech.edu/

Step 1: Go to http://gtid.gatech.edu/ to look up your GT ID number. When looking up your GT ID number, please enter your first name, last name and birthdate only. Please keep your GT ID number in a safe location as this ID will be used to identify you throughout the admissions process.

Step 2: Once you have accessed your GT ID number, please go to https://passport.gatech.edu/activate/index.php to activate your GT account and view your GT Account Username and Password. Please keep this information in a safe location as you will use your Username and Password to access your Buzzport account.

Step 3: Now that you have activated your gt account you will be able to login to most Georgia Tech information systems, such as BuzzPort (https://buzzport.gatech.edu) and T-Square (https://t-square.gatech.edu).

NOTE:  If you are a CURRENT Georgia Tech undergraduate student, you do not need to do this -- your account and access will continue as already established.
